VOICE GEMS transforms human voices into shimmering crystalline artifacts—each gem a unique blend of sound data captured from laughter or grief or poetry itself. Harry Yeff (Reeps100) and Trung Bao fuse vocal artistry with cutting-edge technology to create gems exhibited at Art Basel and the World Economic Forum.
Bao’s beatboxing mastery meets Yeff’s conceptual depth as they build an archive capturing endangered languages alongside AI-generated voices. Their work asks: what does your voice look like? It’s not just art; it’s humanity crystallized into form—a radical exploration of sound turned sculpture.
